Hello, I am Patrick. I am working as a Manager in a MNC. Over the years, I have witnessed emerging business trends and how employees have become the life stream of every business. I found, businesses investing their time and resources in employee development activities, to help them with consistent growth and development. Disengaged and unskilled employees, on the other hand, are detrimental to a company's success.
Since, employees strive really hard to accomplish the organisation’s goals, it becomes necessary for the management to recognize them and their hard work and performance. In fact, in my company, we always give emphasis on employee’s work anniversary and birthday’s celebration, just to boost their morale. And I personally feel this is important too. Though money is an important motivating factor, but employee recognition is equally imperative.
