When changes occur at workplace, employees generally feel desperate and uncomfortable. But, since you’re in business world, change is inevitable that you’ve to deal at certain point in your career. Ask yourself if you’re excited about the changes or how do you feel about it? How long will it take to accept the change or extended responsibility? When you will ask these questions, you will be able to recognize its impact on you and others’ and you will get to know how to overcome your own fear of change.
If you endeavor to reduce the fear, always take time to clear the facts. Check what organization has communicated and if there is any timeline? Also, check if your role and responsibilities are going to change? Analyzing facts one by one, will help you in distinguishing rights facts from fiction and you would be saved from falling victim to rumors. Focusing only on the facts is a big milestone on the path to overcoming your fear of change.
